Express Entry Draw: CRS score remains at 440 for ITAs

EXPRESS ENTRY

On September 5, 2018 the Canadian Government held its latest Express Entry Draw and announced a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) cut-off score of 440 for receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residence to Canada.

Canada issued 3,900 ITAs in this invitation round.

In the last Express Entry Draw held on August 22, 2018 the threshold CRS score was 440 in order to receive an ITA.  The current cut-off score remains the same.

Those Express Entry candidates with CRS scores of 440 and above now have 60 days to respond to the ITA.  The time period to respond was recently reduced from 90 days to 60 days.  This emphasizes the importance of preparing all documents for a candidate's permanent residence application, even well before an ITA is issued.
