CANADA is one of the best countries in the world!
Don't take my word for it. Canada consistently ranks year after year as one of the best countries in the world to live having an excellent quality of life. Quality of life rankings consider such factors as public health care system, public education, job market, safety and political stability.
US NEWS for three (3) years in a row ranked Canada number 1 in terms of quality of life. See 2018 US NEWS article:
"For the third consecutive year, Canada ranks No. 1 overall for providing a good quality of life. Survey respondents view the North American country as No. 1 for both being politically stable and having a good job market, and No. 2 for providing a safe environment to live in and for its public education system, a perception supported by independent research. The North American country is seen as possessing the third best well-developed public health care system. In fact, Canada is rated in the top 10 in all but one of the nine attributes, affordability, where Asian countries dominate."
The World Economic Forum 2018 country ranking for highest quality of life, names Canada no. 2 in the world.
See World Economic Forum article:
"For such a huge nation, Canada only has 35 million citizens, and they are some of the best looked after in the world. Canada's healthcare is what stands it above the rest. Education and opportunity in the country are also impressively strong."
Canada boasts having 3 of the top 10 most liveable cities in the world as reported by CNN. These cities are:
There are over 60 different immigration programs offered by the Federal government of Canada and by the various provinces and territories of Canada. These programs allow overseas individuals to obtain legal status in Canada to live, work or study. Many of these programs lead to obtaining permanent resident status in Canada.
Many of these immigration programs assess overseas individuals based on various selection factors, including but not limited to, age, education, work experience, and English and/or French language skills.
A large number of immigrants seek to immigrate to Canada through the Express Entry System which consists of three (3) different Federal immigration programs, the Federal Skilled Worker, Canadian Experience Class, and the Federal Skilled Trades programs. The Federal Skilled Worker program seeks those educated individuals with overseas (and Canadian if applicable) work experience in various occupations who also have good English or French language skills. The Canadian Experience Class seeks overseas individuals who already have some study or work experience in Canada. The Federal Skilled Trades program seeks those individuals with work experience in the trades. All three programs lead to possible permanent resident status in Canada.
There are many other immigration programs offered outside of the Express Entry system by the Federal government and by the provinces and territories of Canada.
